Building the Catholic, rather Christian, community on the grounds of love, fellowship, service, unity and prayer.
Normally, a community has its own physical, emotional, environmental and socio-cultural needs.
Unity is an essential part of forming a community. If this essence is lost, the community loses its soul.
The Church has discovered the role of the small Christian community and felt the need for sharing the Gospel, reflection, prayer and service for fulfillment of the needs of the community.
Due to the rise of individualistic attitude and globalization, the situation demands that the value of community building be maintained.
A village or zone will elect a leader for 8 families, and all other leaders in the zone come together and choose their main leader.
The Priest encourages and motivates the community, visits the families in the zone and tells them that the cooperation of the entire community is expected.
Arrangements are made to train the leaders in leadership, administration, pastoral care, prayer and service.
The members need to meet each month, reflect together, plan a course of action and see that it becomes a praying, serving and spirituality-mature community.
The BCC sees to the needs of the families, youth, children, aged people and see what services they can offer to make the community more vibrant.
